A directory is only worth joining if being in it feels safe. These aren’t settings buried in a menu — they’re how the system is built.
Nobody gets in without being checked
Every account is approved by an admin before it can see anything. Until then, a new signup cannot browse the directory and does not appear in it.
Your phone and email are never on display
They aren't shown, and they aren't quietly sent to anyone's browser either. Sharing them takes a request from a member and a yes from you.
You control how visible you are
Stay listed to fellow alumni, or hide from the directory completely. Ask for your data to be deleted whenever you want. It is never shared with anyone outside the network.
Questions
Who can see my profile?
Only alumni whose accounts an admin has approved. The directory is not public and is not indexed by search engines. You can also set your profile to private, which hides you from the directory entirely while keeping your account.
Will my phone number be visible?
No. Your phone and email are never displayed to another member and are never sent to their browser. Someone who wants to reach you sends a contact request; you see who they are and why, and nothing is shared unless you accept.
Is it really free?
Yes, and it is built to stay that way. The whole platform runs on free service tiers, so there is no subscription to introduce later and no reason to sell anything.
Why do I have to wait for approval?
Because the directory only works if everyone in it is genuinely from RLBH. A moderator checks each signup by hand. It is the same reason your details are safe here and not in a spreadsheet that has been forwarded around.
I was already on the old spreadsheet. Do I sign up again?
Yes — sign up with the same email address and your existing details will be attached to your new account automatically, so you won't have to retype them.
Can I remove myself later?
Yes. You can ask for your data to be deleted at any time, and an admin will action it. Your information is never shared with third parties.
